..... well, maybe not by demand but by one person asking ..... tomorrow will be "Ask Me Wednesday". :)
It's been quite a while since I've answered any questions .... so ask away.
The bathroom is coming along, slowly but surely. The floor and the sinks were put in today. I'd show you a picture but they shut me out of there so that the floor will set. So I haven't even seen what it looks like yet. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.
The tree has a few decorations on it. Lovely M felt a bit sorry for it (or me) and brought me a box of ornaments .... and they're lovely. This would be a great way for me to decorate the tree without having to go up into the attic! If anyone feels sorry for my tree just send some ornaments. :)
(I'm kidding).
I also had some ornaments that I brought back from Russia that I put on this morning, so it's not looking quite so bare. Not totally anyway.
It's raining and raining and raining here. "They" say it's going to snow on Friday. Hard to believe. It's south Texas, after all. Well, southeast Texas.
OK, that's it for today, Peeps.
Oh ...... except for this:
Ummmmm ...... I went on a date tonight.
Happy Tuesday, Peeps.
:)

I saw that you might have snow down your way. My AMW question: how hard was it for you to get 6 children bundled up to go outside in cold weather?
wow! I am very happy for you! I know that must have taken a lot of courage and am very proud of you for being such a strong woman. I think Jim is smiling up in Heaven that you are giving it a shot so someone can take care of you down here until you meet up with him again in Heaven. I hope this new guy knows the support you have around you so he can watch his back.... just sayin! And btw, I'm assuming there will be more details on this to come?!
wait a minute.....you "went on a date tonight"? What the $%#@ does that mean? I see how you casually "tossed" that out there. I think we need a bit more, as your faithful few. :) to you, as well.
OK, I recently got a similar casual date comment from Jenine F.
What is it with the J. girls!!! Love, Cindy
I haven't been reading as often as I'd like (the same applies to all my blogs) and I can hardly ever comment anymore, but I'm so glad I checked in today! Your date makes me very happy -- not because I think you need to be in a hurry to move on, or because I think moving on is remotely possible or desirable, but because I think it's a positive thing to let someone else in your life. I think a lot of what I would miss about my husband, or at least the part that could possibly be filled by someone else, would be the comradery and friendship-- the talking and laughing we do so often. There would be holes no one could fill, but I hope you were able to enjoy a night with some laughing and talking. You deserve it.
Good evening my darling daughter.
Whaaaa?!? I feel really out of the loop here! But, good for you! You make me proud.
I love you dearly.
I look at the picture of you on your blog...the one in the "about me" section, and I see a beautiful, young, (yes, we are still young)woman with a bright beautiful smile. And then I think of the person you are...funny, smart, opinionated, passionate about family, friends, faith, and so many other qualities and I know and believe that you have so much living and loving still ahead for you. I'm glad you think so too!! Much love, Vicki
I'm glad - about your date, not so much on the snow. Snow in Texas usually gets kinda yucky fast. I hope you had a good time!
Love, Ann
so yeah, we just wanna hear about this date experience... :)
My AMW is: what's up with the date?! Who's the guy? Did you enjoy it? Is it something you plan on doing again? How did the kids feel about it? How did you in general feel about it? Have I got you feeling like you're on "The View"? lol
I am also glad I checked in today! I totally agree with LL about everything! You DO deserve some laughing, real smiles and companionship. Always on your time though. Love you, Jennifer B.
THAT brought out the commenters!
Did you take the picture of the RR tracks on the WV blog? Great picture. An appropriate illustration for your very appropriate Wednesday post.
Here's my question for AMW-Have you reached the point where you enjoy food again?
I know for almost 2 years now you just ate to live (barely) but since I am one who lives to eat, I just had to ask.
So did you think the date comment was going to sneak on by?
My question is how did you deal with the smart-mouthed, sassy brat uh pre-teen girls? I'm ready to lock Belle in her room until she's 25.
Wow - a date? Well, my AMW question is: How was it? Did you enjoy it? And where (and what) did you eat? :)
