Of course, it's only been one day ... but I'll take one day of feeling better.
And, upon reflection, I think that the wave is directly related to the level of pain the R.A. is giving me .... which is quite a bit.
I go see my Rheumatologist tomorrow. And we are going to plan the next step. Which I am hoping will really do a good job of putting this crap into remission.
So, in a way, I'm glad that I forgot to take my meds for two weeks ..... thus proving that I do, indeed, have this stupid disease. No more guessing if I do or don't, or what else it could be. Now I know, and can move forward towards getting rid of the pain. At least that's my prayer.
Anyway .... today was a better day.
And I heard this song again .... for only the second time.
It speaks so eloquently of what happens when you grieve.
Or .... at least it speaks for me.
I hope it speaks for some of you.
And that it brings you some amount of peace.
Although I do not think that this is "the best thing that's happened to me", nor will I ever think that, I do think that God has brought about good from it.
Of course, I'd give up the good in a nano second, if it would bring back Jim .... but it won't. And so I take the good.
Because it's all I can do.
To move forward in my life.
I pray that each of you has a blessed Easter weekend, Peeps.
:)

Your words are full of hope and healing for others grieving a loss. I'm glad the wave is subsiding and pray for doctor's wisdom on treating the RA. Missed you last weekend in Canton! Love you, Vicki
Great video and song - yeah, I have to agree on the "best thing for me". But I have already seen good things come from my son's passing. I hope and pray that more are to come since the dues for joining this club are pretty steep.
Happy Easter :):)
Diane,
You've been on my prayer list. I SO appreciate your thoughts and comments.
I pray that you have a blessed Easter.
Janine
Thanks, Vicki. I really missed you guys, too, but had a great time in S.C. Hope to see you soon. :)
Love you!!
Hi J,
I've recently learned never to underestimate the effect on mental health of low level physical pain.
I didn't know I had underlying back ache until I got an anti inflammatory for a tooth ache and felt so light and free and mentally in a much better place.
So now I take voltaren every day, but am looking for ways not to!
