Daughters 2 & 3 are on their way. Unfortunately they were a bit sidetracked yesterday not long after they left Waco. They hit a deer.
I think the deer did significant damage to the car, but not to the two of them, thankfully.
The kids are still sleeping, though I think Son #3 may be up and about. He mentioned something about a trampolene for today's activity.
We'll see.
It's a beautiful morning.
I think it's time to go out and enjoy it. :)
P.S. The post about going private was a post I had written back in November, and then removed it when I removed a few other posts from that time. I re-posted them today, not realizing they would post today, rather than the original date. So I went back and back-dated them, so they'd appear at the time they were written.
Don't worry ... I have no intention of taking this "private", just as I no longer will censor what I write in order to walk on egg shells.
I'm still writing and I'm still writing my feelings.
Janine, do what you need to do with your blog, but I will really miss it if you take it "private".
ReplyDeleteI have not lost a spouse due to death, but I have lost one (MANY) years ago due to immaturity and betrayals you could not beieve. I think that kind of "breakup" is so hard because someone who once loved us chose to treat us so badly. When someone dies, it is not their choice toleave us.
Enjoy the time with your children. All of us are thinking about you.
This wonderful Monday is the beginning of a fantastic vacation with the 6 people you love most in this world. Fagetabouttheass! As I said in another post -- we can all help you deal with that next week (or not -- your choice!). Charge your battery with the wonderful energy that surrounds you for the rest of the week! xoxox
ReplyDeleteglad the girls are okay. How wonderful you will all be together soon!
ReplyDeleteSaw an earlier post about "going private" and now it seems to have disappeared. I totally understand if you need to do so. But I must tell you that I would greatly miss your writings. You have helped me in so many ways the past four years as I have negotiated this path of widowhood. There are days when you put into words the exact thing I am feeling and you have made me feel so less alone - and not so crazy!
Enjoy the rest of your vacation!
Enjoy your vacation!!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! So glad to hear you will be around and telling it like it is. I LOVE reading your blog...always makes me smile. Enjoy your week with your kids.
