It's 6am Fri. Yesterday was even more amazing than the day before (I'm sure everyone's tired of the words "amazing" & "awesome"!). We saw over 350 people and at least 50 % of them were over 50--well over! My two favorites were an 87 yr old woman (who loved looking at her pic in my camera & laughing at her one tooth!) and Mariko, who was 103!!! I continue to be stunned that God has blessed me so much every single day!
Don't get me wrong, it's long, hot, sometimes difficult & very frustrating, but--if you could have a job where eveey day you could make this many people SO happy & joyful---WOW!! You'd never retire!!
Now to prayer requests: today is our last clinic day-we leave for Nairobi very early in the a.m. It has poured all night, which makes driving very dangerous. Please pray for our driver, Jackson, as he comes today & us as we leave tomorrow. We have miles and miles of mud to go through.
Thanks for all your prayers & comments--I'll try to post tomorrow before we leave. Kwa heri!

Amazing and awesome can never be overused where God's love is concerned! So proud of you that you were open to God's calling for you. Will be praying for safe travels. Missed you and can't wait to hear all about it.
BTW, heard your hot water heater isn't working at home.....
Just kidding! Enjoy your shower when you get home!

Ok, now Eggers West is on board. I feel quite embarrassed about my whining e-mail now. It must be such a wonderful feeling to make a difference in someones life. I'll bet you will never forget the sparkle in someone's eyes after you have helped them.
I just had a chance to catch up on your posts. LOVE the kitten!! and I laughed out loud at the pasta salad.
You are such an inspiration to me and everyone you touch. God bless you and the work you are doing. I guess the conditions make the dorm room bunks in New Orleans look like the Ritz. Keep up the awesome work.
Your Buddy, TS
