Time to brag .... and say goodbye

So I had to get one last post in. I have to brag about Daughter #1. She just found out this morning that a paper she submitted to a national conference was one of THREE chosen! She will travel to the city of the conference in the spring and present her paper. She's very excited, mostly because this will look awesomely great on her grad school applications (because now she's "published").
I am leaving in less than an hour. I checked and double-checked everything so I think I'm ready. The passport is packed, as is the immunization record. Hope my bag fits in the overhead. The downside (well, one of MANY downsides) of getting only a carry-on is that there's no room to bring anything back! I'm not sure I'll have any shopping time anyway so it may be a moot point. But, if I bring home a baby that gives me two more carry-on options!!! Hmmmmmmm ..... OK, I'm not THAT crazy!
Well, I've stalled as long as possible. It's time to (gulp!) shut down the computer.
So goodbye to my family and friends, good luck to my J.R. tennis team (go ladies!) and hugs and kisses to the hubby and kids.
I can't wait to come back and tell you all about it!!!
