The cats just keep on hatin'.
The other day I wrote a note to get Son #3 out of school early the next day for an appointment. I left it on the island and then went to bed.
And woke up to this:
Too bad for Son #3 that it wasn't a page of homework so that he really could use the "my pet ate my homework" excuse.
For the past two evenings I have walked into my bedroom and seen this:
Never.
Ever.
Ever.
I am pathetically anal about having to have my bed made every-single-morning.
Yes, I realize it's a sickness but at the moment it's at the bottom of the "fix-it" list.
ANYWAY ....... I wondered if Gabby had been jumping on my bed while Son #3 was supposed to be Gabby-sitting.
And then last night ..... I discovered what had been happening:
It would appear that my bedroom as been the evening playground.
Sigh.
I have received another blog award, from Marsha over at Breathings of the Heart. I love her blog and I love what I've learned from her and her walk on this path. She is an amazing woman and I'm humbled that she would say that my blog has impacted her life.

In accepting this award I am supposed to pass it along to other bloggers who have impacted my life.

In accepting this award I am supposed to pass it along to other bloggers who have impacted my life.
There are quite a few of them to choose from, so I'm going to give it some thought and write about it tomorrow. I hope that is permissible in the world of blog awards.
So that's it for today.
I am now going to enjoy some Chinese food, some wine and the presence of my son and my friend.
And forget about waiting for anything.
For now.

I love how the dogs are so good with the boys! They both look like they are having a great time, albeit, at the expense of your bed-making! LOL
Also, it cracks me up that the cats chewed up a paper! Too funny!
Love,
Melanie

waiting with you...
congrats on another award! why don't we just nominate you for THE BEST BLOG BAR NONE and get it over with. Anyone? Anyone? (Or, the best blog if you've been to a bar?)
When Miles was a puppy (which was any time until he was about 7 years old)he used to do the happy dance on our bed when we would say (to each other, not him) "Let's go for a walk." He would run downstairs, hop on our bed and practically do somersaults. (we had a water bed--i'm surprised he never punctured it!) It got so bad that we started to spell it out "Hey, do you want to go for a w-a-l-k?" soon he caught on to that too. my one and only funny piece of dog video (we have a recorder but rarely used it...for kids or dog) captured this moment. Actually I wish i would have captured him when M would practice the trumpet. Miles would lay down and put his paws over his ears. you'd never know M was a professional!
hope you're having a good evening! I'll miss you while we're gone next week. praying that God blesses you richly.
The video made me laugh out loud! Glad to hear you had a wonderful evening planned! Hope it's better than you expected!
Love you,
Julie
how great they are together. What a love-in for both of them, and you, as observer. To h#$* with the bed, I say! Besides, dust mites breed when you make it. Air circulation kills them, I hear.
