Tomorrow is Wednesday ....

.... which also means that I'm glad today is coming to a close.

Today was a tough day.  Emotionally and physically.
I met a new friend today.  A new person is the Circle.  I'm so sorry that she had to meet me.
But grateful that she wanted to.  She's only been in this Circle for less than a month.  I wish I had the words to say to make the hurt go away.  I wish I could say the words that would make it hurt less, that would somehow ease her stay on this path.  But I can't.  I can just walk beside her.  And I am grateful for that, too.
Yes, I'd trade every single person I've met, every person I've learned to love, everyone I know in my life, if that would bring Jim back.
But it won't.
And so ..... well, nothing really.
Just .... and so.

I was able to sleep for an hour and a half today in my second home.  I'm shocked by this because I haven't been able to really nap well in a year and a half (well, a year and a half in two days, but who's counting?).  But these past two days I've been sleeping a lot and sleeping well, though today I still felt like I could've stayed in bed (when I woke up at 5:30 p.m.!) and slept through the night.  I am exhausted.
Tomorrow is a new doctor.  Yip.Pee.

I was going to give you my last wrap-up post on Russia .... and what I learned there, but I think I'd rather go to sleep, Peeps.
Sorry.
But don't fret .... maybe I'll do it Thursday.
Or tomorrow if no one asks any questions.

Cuz tomorrow is "Ask Me Wednesday".

So ask away, or I may give you more Cat Circus, and none of us want that, do we?
:)

J,
Here is an AMW question if you're up for it... I was wondering, while reading your Russia posts... Does your whole family basically enjoy going to museums, or just you and D1? I noticed it was such a recurring theme in your travels... I know you all are theatre and movie buffs, but was wondering about the art/museum aspect. And, if so, what did you and Jim do to inspire such an interest in the kids?!

I pray that things look up soon, that the renovations are finished soon, and that the pain goes away soon(er). I'm glad you are at least getting some rest/sleep of late. And, I'm glad you have the boys home and can enjoy their company all summer. I, too, enjoyed watching S2 in the VBS band :)
HUGS, Leia

Question #1: Do you dream of Jim?
#2: I still want to know what the little yellow house with hands prints was in the girls bedroom! Did Jim build it?

here's a parenting of girls question...leg shaving...when? B wants to shave because she says she looks like a hairy ape...i say there must have been some awful girl in swim team that gave her that idea...and i think she's way too young, but maybe this is something i should just let go of...what do you think?

and there's still my question from last Thursday about washing mouth out with soap...

come on, mom of the year...i'm looking for answers. :)

I want to ask the same question as Susan, about the mouth soap thing. Did you do it? Did it work? Do you recommend it? Will you call CPS on me if I do it?
Love you. Thanks for your message and prayers. I am feeling them all right now and need them.

Hi, I have been a reader for a while but this is my first time commenting. My AMW question is, as the mother of a large family, how do you feel about Octomom and the Gosselins putting their children in front of so many cameras? And if you were ever offered a show like thay, would you have done it? And last question, promise! Did you plan to have such a large family or was it a surprise to you? I know people always say what an inspiration your blog is, but I just wanted to let you know that I think so too. You are very real and tell it how it is. Most people try to sugar coat everything and that doesn't help themselves or anyone else. So thank you for what you do. Amber
