Canton ....

... was SO much fun!
Of course, I could have been any place on earth with these women and I would have had SO much fun. Anywhere.

But Canton was pretty interesting. If there's anything in the world that you want to buy ..... and I seriously mean ANYTHING .... you can find it there.
Every category imaginable is represented: junk, antiques, crapola, new things, furniture, tools, vintage anything, animals (pigs, chickens, dogs, etc.), jewelry, clothing, crafts, crap, art, iron, furniture, pottery, books, more crap, food, food, food, Tupperware, designer bags, fake designer bags, sunglasses, more food, tractors, plants, way too much stuff to list. It's over 100 acres of "stuff". Too much to see in just one weekend.
And even more interesting than the stuff .... were the people. It's a great place to people-watch.
Great.
I took a few pictures .... but not enough.
Here is my weekend .... in images:

One of the symbols of our sorority is the crescent moon. If you look closely you can see one among all of the iron work here:

This was a grande swirl margarita at a restaurant in Tyler ..... Mercado. The food was excellent (as were the margaritas!):

This woman got my attention very quickly. She is not aging gracefully. But I decided that when I am a grandma (she was well into her 60's or over) I am going to dress just like this:

And just so you can REALLY experience this look .... here it is from the front!

A pink flamingo ..... and Peeps!

I loved this moose:

Two of my sisters .... and their Canton carts:

My car ..... packed to go home:

El Mercado. Seriously. You have to go there:

Pizza and champagne:

And lots and lots and LOTS of laughter:

We had a blast:

The crescent moon:
Ohhhhhh. Essssssss. Youuuuuuuuuu. (OSU):

It was a wonderful weekend and I sure hope that we don't wait an entire year to do it again.

Happy Tuesday, Peeps.
:)

A flood of emotions at seeing these pictures. Like you, I love
these women and seriously hope we don't go another year without seeing each other. The best part...seeing you laugh out loud and laughing with you! Love you, Vicki

I used to go to Canton when I was a little girl. My mom and her sisters would load up all the kids and we would go. I remember being totally amazed at all the stuff. I think it's time I go back. There's probably a lot of stuff there that I need. I'm almost sure of it.
