And so far ..... I think everything is in it.
No, I haven't had time to unpack it, but I did do a quick search to see if the main things were there.
Prescription meds: check
Perfume: check
That's about as far as I got.
I think it's
And Oliver wasn't too sure that I should let it in the door ....
But at least it is here.
Safe and sound.
Really, really dirty and banged up ...... but safe and kind of sound.
I am relieved.
And thinking kinder thoughts about a certain airline.
Though I'm not so sure about that one.
Time will tell.
Someone needs to tell them that the clock is ticking and time's a wastin'!
Happy Thursday, Peeps.
And thanks for all of the prayers and good thoughts.
:)

So glad it's back. I'm wondering what exactly happened to your suitcase, did it fall onto the runway or get stuck somewhere? I sure hope they're going to replace it since it's so banged up.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I've ever commented before or even how I stumbled upon your blog, but I enjoy your perspective on life. I lost my mom to cancer last year and it has changed my outlook on a lot of things. My parents had just celebrated their 39th anniversary, so I have used your perspective as a little insight to how my dad might be dealing. Thank you.
glad it's back, safe and sound; and hopefully all of it's contents intact!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for commenting and especially for letting me know why you read and how you connect with my writing.
Every single time someone tells me that .... it feels like a miracle to me. Every time. I get emotional and ....
well, I don't have words that are adequate to describe how your comments make me feel.
It's overwhelmingly wonderful, and very humbling at the same time.
I feel honored to be able to connect with someone through my writing. It never ceases to amaze me.
So thank you again .... your words encourage me.
:)
Hi Beth! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, everything was in the suitcase and everything was just as I had last seen it. Nothing broken, no leaking bottles .... just lots of dirty clothes. And since I had no idea where the bag has been (if bags could only talk ...)
I pulled all of the clothes out and did quite a bit of laundry.
Fortunately, I'm used to doing lots and lots of laundry, though it has been a while.
:)
Wow! I wish it COULD talk! I wonder if they tied it to the wheels of the plane and just drug it along for the trip! ;) Glad the contents are safe and sound. Amazed that there were no broken bottles! Looking forward to another post about The Adventures of Janine!
