.... who just joined our Circle.
Last month.
After a horrible and sudden loss.
She joined us only 2 weeks later.
And what's even more stunning ......
this is her second trip on the widowed road.
Her first husband died after they were married about 27 years.
And she sent me this this morning.
I think she's amazing .... as most of the women in my Circle are.
As are most of the widowed people I know.
And I know hundreds.
You ALL rock!!!

What sustains my mind? My quest for knowledge.
What teaches me all lessons? My mistakes.
What lift's my head high? My pride, not arrogance.
What if I can't go on? Not an option.
What makes me victorious? My courage to climb.
What makes me competent? My confidence.
What makes me beautiful? My love of God.
What makes me a woman? My heart.
Who says I need love? I do.
What empowers me? My God.
Who am I? I AM A PROUD STRONG WOMAN!
