Packing Was Not a Priority ....

.... today.
I know that you all find that shocking, but alas, I didn't pack a thing.

In fact, I wasn't home from 10:15 this morning until just after midnight.
Today was a day spent with friends.

A very good day and a great way to spend it.  :)

We went to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel".  A movie I highly recommend.
Highly.  :)

Then we went to the next town over (or really, about 3 towns over) because 2 of us needed to renew our driver's license .... and driving 3 towns away is MUCH faster than sitting in our local DPS for a couple of hours, or 5.
I am now set for the next 6 years.
With a picture that I'm not all that fond of .... but then, is anyone ever fond of their DL picture?

After that we ran a couple of errands, resumed watching "Weeds" (Season 2), made/ate dinner, met Son #3 for ice cream after he got off work, watched  another episode of Weeds ..... and then it was suddenly midnight.

Not as productive a day .... task-wise, but a much more productive day in time spent with friends.  Time with friends beats out task time any day.  :)

So tomorrow will be spent doing last minute laundry, catching up on things around here .... and packing.  I hope.
And maybe catching "Men in Black" tomorrow night with the sons, after Son #1 gets home.  :)

I know, I know .... so much excitement you can hardly stand to read, right?
Trust me .... a lack of excitement in one's life is vastly underated.
At least that's my experience .... in my life.

Now that you're all sound asleep .... I shall join you.
Being that it's almost 1:00 a.m.
Which is pretty darn exciting in itself.
:)

'Night/Good Morning, Peeps.
Happy Friday.
:)

P.S.  Ann's post today, A Prayer for the Broken Hearted,  is beautiful.  And timely.  For some people.  :)
