My Cowboys played well again. Of course, they didn't really play a very strong team so it doesn't seem to count as much as it should.
They don't play next weekend so hopefully they'll get a lot of practice time in before they play Texas in two weeks.
In Stillwater.
And yes, Son #3 and I will be there.
Whoop!
(I hope.)
It was pretty cool in Tulsa when we arrived Friday evening. Son #3 and I thought it felt wonderful. People were wearing sweatshirts and jackets. We certainly weren't, but people were.
Weenie people.
:)
It was raining a lot on Friday but then it stopped on Saturday for the game. Thankfully.
I got to see several of my sorority sisters and their husbands. It was great to see them. And so much fun to be around. :)
I also got to see and meet Coleman Scott, who went to OSU and won a bronze medal this summer in London. Yep, in the Olympics! One of my sorority sisters knows him so he and his wife (and darling 1 year old daughter) stopped by her tailgate party. He's cute and very nice. :)
Today Son #3 and I went over to my brother's house and surprised my Dad, who's birthday was Thursday. We had a great time hanging out with them and having dinner at Carraba's.
My Dad got himself this for his birthday:
He's pretty proud of it. And no, it's not the pile of trash bags on the corner.
This is Son #3 putting his luggage underneath. Kind of like on a bus. But not really. :)
This is my brother checking out the tv. Yes, while my dad was driving. We're nothing if not totally safety conscious. Well, some of us.
These are my 2 lovely nieces who were just about as embarrassed as Son #3 to be riding in this thing to a restaurant, a Wal-Mart, and the airport. Teenagers! Sigh ..... :)
And this is a really cute camper that Vicki and I saw last night driving home from Stillwater. I would've loved to see inside it.
So there you go. My weekend.
SO exciting, is it not?
I know. Not really.
But trust me, excitement isn't all it's cracked up to be.
And you're the one who came here to read it.
I'll try to be more entertaining next time.
:)
Happy Sunday/Monday, Peeps.
:)
