I Wish You ......

                                                         Source

...... a Happy Valentine's Day.

I wish you contentment with what you have ...... and with whom you have.
I wish you joy over any desire for a card or flowers or diamonds.
Or ...... I know I'm really taking a leap here ...... chocolate.
: )

But more importantly, for those of you who have a very loved spouse/significant other, I wish you time.

Time to say, "I love you."
Time to say, "I appreciate you."
Time to say, "I respect you."*
Time to say, "I'm so thankful for you and grateful to God for placing you in my life."
Time to say, "You're a great husband/father/grandfather/wife/mother/grandmother."

Look at those sentences again.
Read each one.

That didn't take much time, did it?

Take the time.

You won't regret it.

Trust me ...... when it comes to love ...... it's wonderful to have no regrets.

Happy Thursday, Peeps.
: )

*While women, in general, need to hear, "I love you.",
men, in general, need to hear, "I respect you."
It's true.
Google it.

forever grateful that Dave an I never left each other without saying "I love you", ended every phone conversation the same way. I may not remember much about our last visit in the hospital before they put him into a medically induced coma, but I know without a doubt our last words were "I love you" and "I love you too". It was the same with the kids. So I have the peace to know that that is the last thing that each of them heard their Daddy say. A little thing. But boy does it mean a lot.

I love you Janine - and thank you for being my friend!

Happy Valentine's Day (a day late - never did get through everything on the computer last night - was too busy seeing all the pictures you were posting on facebook!!!!!)
