A Loving Home Is Needed ......

...... for this precious, precious puppy:

Look at that face.  Or maybe you shouldn't.  Because she has a way of working herself right into your heart.

I have been pretty much holed-up (Yes, that's a term. Go watch a John Wayne movie.  And if you don't know who John Wayne is/was ...... you should be reading an all together different blog.) in my home with her for 3 solid days.
It's hard to go anywhere for longer than an hour or so when you have a 12 week old Yorkie.  Which is why she's pictured in my car.  She hung out with me Friday night, at an outdoor concert.
She hung out with me all day Saturday, at a women's event at my church, and then running errands.
She was a trooper.

By Sunday I knew that we needed some quiet time.  Or at least she did.  So we've hung out at home, trying to see if she could fit in here.
She is precious.  She is loving.  And she is hilarious.
But ...... she is not for me.

While she is very easy to put in your bag and hit the road with (well, as long as the road is about 20 minutes or so ...... I haven't dared go further than that at this point in her young life), I'm afraid that I hit the road way too much.

The couple that owns her cannot keep her.  They both work and they have a 3 year old son.  Three year olds and tiny Yorkie puppies do not mix.
Nor does an empty house.

She needs attention.  She loves attention.  She thrives on attention.
But then, who doesn't?

I took her to my vet yesterday to have her checked out.  And she did.
Check out, that is.
She's up to date on her shots and she's very healthy.  She weighs 4 pounds and they don't think she'll get much bigger.
She's pure Yorkie, but without the papers (which never mattered to me ...... with any animal).

The young man who owns her would love it if he could sell her for $400, which is much less than they paid for her.  They might very well be willing to take less than that, but keep in mind that these are two young,  hard working parents of a small child. (Was that a big enough hint?)
No, I don't know why they bought her ...... I don't know them personally.  I suppose they took one look at her ......

...... and couldn't resist.

I told them that I would take her for a few days ...... to see how it went.  They were aware that this was only a trial period ...... and also a chance to give them a bit of a break.
And while my heart would love to keep her, my brain isn't agreeing.  My mind is already in New York, in an 8th floor apartment ...... without a puppy.

So I thought I'd use this space to see if anyone out there, amongst all of you Peeps, would like a lovely, healthy and totally loving puppy.

If you're interested you can email me at jeggerstx@gmail.com

By the way, she comes highly recommended.
: )

Thanks, Peeps.
And Happy Tuesday.
: )

P.S.  I'm hoping to get the "things you can do" post done before the end of the week.  Thanks for all of the comments (some which have been posted, most have not ...... yet) and the emails.  You still have time to ask questions/comment.

Oh. My. Goodness! If I still lived in the Houston area and could pop over for a love fest, I might just end up taking her home, but, alas, I now live in the DFW area. Too far for a pop in to see if I would love her as much as I think I would. Bummer! Hope you find a perfect home for her.
