Sunday Snippet

Quick post ..... I'm right in the middle of "Rambo 4" with the sons and with my friend, LN. She came over for wine and Chinese (my favorite hostess meal!) and Son #1 offered up what appeared to be a challenge. He didn't think that we, as women, would accept the offer to watch this with him. We informed him that we were up to the challenge and that we had seen more "guy movies" than he has.

And here we are.

I'm wondering how many Oscar nominations for writing this movie earned?

And how many buckets of fake blood they used?

And how old is this man now?! Though really, he doesn't look as old as Harrison Ford did in the last Indiana Jones movie.

And holy moly --- I wonder how many people will decide not to go on mission trips now?

And boy, does my surround-sound work well with the sounds of guns and explosives!

And really, it doesn't appear to really pay to be a mercenary.

So much for that dream.
