I'd love to post what I'm really going through, and what I'm feeling, and what I'd really like to do, but I'm afraid it would freak out too many people.
So ..... I plan to take some time off. It may be a week ..... it may be two ..... or it may be a day. I don't know.
All I know is that this totally sucks and I have been blind-sided. And that all I want is someone I can't have.
I will check for comments if you feel like posting any and will post them.
I know I don't have to ask, but I will .... please keep the kids and me in your prayers this month.
We definitely need them.

Praying for you...
Just checking in to tell you that I love you. It's almost 1:00pm on Monday afternoon and you are in my thoughts.
Today is a quiet day. The kids are in school and T is at work, so I have taken the opportunity to sneak ALL of the dogs into the house with me! They are all in various stages of rest or sleep near my feet, enjoying the warmth of the fireplace. I had the Newfoundland shaved on Friday because he was terribly matted. I have now renamed him. He is a "Newdle". (Newf/Poodle) He looks pathetically hilarious with his fluffy head and little poof on the end of his tail! Poor guy;)
Sis, I hope your day is somewhat peaceful and that Jim connects with your heart. I have to believe that he is, and always will be with you, and that when it feels like it's too much to bear, he'll let you know in some way that he's holding you.

I could have written this post. This is my third Christmas since my own precious Jim died suddenly. I got three little boys and like your blog is called it is just one breath at a time, one prayer at a time, one step at a time.
Don't know if you have heard this before, but it is something I think you understand. "At the finest level of my being, you are still with me. We still look at each other at that level beyond sight. We talk and laugh with each other on a level beyond touch. WE share time together in a place where time stands still. We are still together on a level called love. But I cry alon for you......in a place called reality."
