I just walked in the door and happened to glance up at the clock as I checked my e-mails. So don't worry that I'm just sitting here, drinking my wine and watching the clock. As nice and mind-altering as that sounds ..... I'm not.
Just one of those God-things, I guess.
Oh ...... and last year at 3:00?
I was kissing Jim good-bye as they took him off to surgery.
I wish I'd known.
It would've been a much better kiss.

I'm praying for you tonight- I can't imagine what a difficult day this must be for you. I'm in tears just reading your posts from the last 24 hours.
I just wanted to let you know, in case I haven't told you yet, that your blog has changed me. I think of you often throughout the day- when I'm annoyed with a stupid thing my husband does, or the other day we had a silly argument & he left angry, and I think how thankful you would be to have someone to argue with. And so thank you for sharing and for reminding us to cherish the time we have with our families.
