Peeps At Sea ....

..... yep, there are the Peeps, sitting on the balcony of our stateroom, enjoying the peace, quiet and beauty of the Mediterranean Sea.

D#1 and I are both in bed, watching "Notting Hill". It's almost midnight our time and it feels every minute of it. It's been a long couple of days.

The flights were uneventful, except for the fact that D1 wasn't able to fly with me on the flight to Rome (for reasons no one would divulge).

But we both made it to Rome at the same time and got connected with our tour. We drove around Rome for a couple of hours before heading out to the ship, which was a 2 hour drive. We both slept (as did everyone on the bus, I think).

We got right on the ship and walked around as we waited for our bags to be delivered to our stateroom. We also had lunch.

Having had dinner, too, I can tell you that the food on this ship is fabulous. And it's only Day 1.

Tomorrow we spend the day at sea and I'm SO looking forward to just lying by the pool, reading and sleeping.

C and I are on the same time zone for a brief moment in time, so it's been fun to text each other all day without worrying about the time difference.

He's having a great time with his girls.

OK, that's it for tonight .... my eyes are losing the war to stay awake.
