I arrived home yesterday around 5:00 p.m.
The plane rides weren't too bad and I think I managed to sleep a couple of hours on the way from Paris to Houston.
I would love to say that I arrived home to lots of fan fare and warm hugs .... but that would be a load of crap.
The trip was great. The sites were wonderful and the weather was amazing. It was sunny and in the high sixties or low 70's all of the time (except of course, at night, when it got a bit brisk, which was also quite nice).
I think it was 91 when we arrived in Houston.
With about 112% humidity.
I posted a few pics on Face Book while over there, but I have yet to load them on to my computer. It may take a while. I averaged about 300-650 pictures a day.
Seriously.
I am an addict.
I slept OK last night .... even though I was out cold before 8:30. I woke up a few times .... once around 3:00 for about an hour but then managed to go back to sleep.
My body is acting furious that I took this trip.
I guess all of the sitting and walking and climbing and sitting and walking and walking has finally taken its toll.
I am aching all over and can barely manage to get up and walk.
My body is not the only one who is furious at me for taking this trip, but that's another topic for another blog.
Well, it's time for me to get moving and hopefully work some of the kinks out. I hope to have time relatively soon to start loading pics, but as you know, I don't promise anything.
