Seriously!
I Know!!
I decided to get to work after I got home from church. It only took me an hour. Hopefully I have packed the right clothes for the weather there. It looks like rain. Lots and lots of rain.
Oh well ..... it'll still be Germany.
I also watched the Texans stomp on the Colts. I think everyone involved was surprised.
Yay Texans.
I was hoping to watch the US Open's men final today but the rain kept that from happening. Hopefully I'll be able to catch it tomorrow. And also hopefully the rain here will stop tonight so that my tennis team can play our match tomorrow.
Then I get to go to physical therapy, which is still slowly-as-the-proverbial-tortoise helping me. Bit by bit I am having less pain. I will definitely take bit-by-bit over a scalpel. Any day.
So all in all, it was a thrilling day for me (can you tell that this sentence is dripping with sarcasm?). The boys were gone, I did laundry, paid a few bills, vented about the rain on Facebook and looked at some pictures of Oberammergau to get a bit acquainted with the village and the Passion play. Click there if you'd like to learn more about it, too.
The quietness is now over, however, because both boys are home and have turned the TV onto the Video Music Awards.
Again, I am dripping with the thrill of enthusiasm. Especially because I don't know 99.9% of these people.
But I'll sit here .... and try to learn a few things without asking too many stupid questions (which, trust me, is totally near impossible to do to the satisfaction of the Sons) and bond.
Either with the Sons or maybe with Lady Ga Ga.
Or maybe that Jersey Shore chick named Snoopy or Sloppy or Snoozie or Snookie.
What.
Ev.
Er.
I miss the Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, Marcus Welby, MD, and Medical Center.
Oh .... and Gilligan's Island.
Yes.
I am that old.
Good night, Peeps and Happy Sunday.
:)

LMAO. I miss the Partridge Family too :-)
WELL DONE for packing xxx
What time are you leaving? What time is the Men's Final? Amazing job with the packing. Must be an all-time record.
Have a safe, inspired and fun time. You will be in my thoughts.
We loved you lots and lots.
You will love the country side and the towns and the people. Lived in Germany as a child (an army brat), lived there a total of five years...have always wanted to go to the Passion Play. May you be blessed when you go to see that. May He bless your time and give you sweet fellowship and safety in travel and keep everyone at home safe and sound. Would love to go with you...take many pictures that you can share with us....blessings..
