The food here has been a pleasant surprise. For lunch I had REAL goulash with dumplings and apple strudel. It was very good.
We returned to the hotel about an hour ago endive been checking emails and uploading pics. It going to take me years to go through all of them.
Today started off a bit "wavy" for me. It's amazing to me how very lonely one can feel amongst thousands and thousands of people. I spent most of the morning hanging on the fringe of our tour and wearing sunglasses and wiping my nose every minute or so. Jim should be here.
Same old song, I know, but it's the song of my life. Everyone else here is "with" someone. I'm not. I'm not the only single person .... I'm not even the only widow, but I am the only one traveling alone. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal by now.
I thought wrong.
Fortunately that wave only messed around with me for a couple of hours or so and then I was able to come out of it.
I'm hoping tonight will be ok. We're on our own for dinner and it seems that most people have paired off. I may just order room service and call it a night.
We'll see if I can recognize anything on the menu. I did hear that ther's a Mexican restaurant around the corner.
Yes, seriously.
I have no intention of going anywhere near it.
However, the McDonalds down the street maybe a different story.
Pathetic, I know.
Oh well.
Happy Saturday from Prague, Peeps.
