There are usually many more decorations but this year I'm going with the theme that "Less is More".
Martha Stewart ... I am not.
I'd tell you what this is a picture of, but I think it's pretty self-explanatory:
These next three pictures are of my collection of Nativity sets from all over the world:
The two plates on the left were made by Son #3 and Son #2, back in '02 and '01:
A nativity item I picked up in Oberaumagau. You light the candles and the fan blades move it around in a circle:
An iron Christmas tree that I got this year, with the purpose of using it as our only tree. See picture number one to know that didn't pan out:
Shots around the kitchen:
OK, so there you go. Proof that I did, indeed, decorate the house. At least parts of it.
Oh, and we had a great, though short, time visiting the Daughters and seeing them in their play. They, of course, were wonderful!
Then today we did another Christmas "thing" .... we saw the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Wow.
Now I'm almost in the mood for this thing.
If I can just make myself finish all of my shopping.
Ugh.
Happy Sunday, Peeps.
:)
