Spain Pics .... Part II ....

.... I thought I'd use Roman numerals for the 2 .... it looks much smarter, don't you think?

OK .... more Spain pics .....

This was interesting.  This is where the double-decker tour bus stopped at the end of the tour.  And this tree is right next to the road.  The stuff hanging in the tree?  Many, many pairs of headsets that they gave you to hear the tour guide.  There were quite a few trees next to this one and they all had headsets hanging in them.
People are very, very strange.

This was my hotel room.  I thought it was great.  Wait .... what's that on the bed?

                            A-ha!  Peeps!

View from the room .... a little market area:

Another plaza.  The hotel was located between the two major plazas.  It was a great location.

This is a famous statue that represents Madrid.  It's a bear, supposedly eating strawberries.  I refrained from telling our tour guide that in the U.S. ..... strawberries don't grow on trees.  A-hem ....

"Wall Street" by any other name .... is still "Wall Street":

I would have loved to buy this Quixote statue:

And yet I refrained from touching him .... even though the Spanish words "Don't Touch" are translated into "Not Don't".  Go figure:

I loved the tiled street signs that were on every corner of a building:

I wonder if this was one of the mute, vacation-taking, no-cookie-baking nuns? (See the first Spain Pics post to get this):

This was the nicest McDonald's I've ever seen:

                                                :)

No, I don't know these people .... just thought it made a cool pic:

That's enough for this post ..... I think I smell smoke coming from my computer ......
Stay tuned .....
(oh, and for those of you who read the first Spain Pics post ..... it's now 9:33 .... and I'm not done)
