Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation Hope Matters April 2011 Soaring Spirits has a NEW Look! SSLF is continually working to provide our community with the best resources possible, delivered in a user-friendly, and easy to share, format. We also want our website to be a reflection of our community in every area: from branding, to programming, to development. When you visit www.sslf.org, we want you to feel like you have come home! So we've made some changes we think you'll like, take a look and let us know what you think!  AND Camp Widow has it's Own Website! Our new look includes a new website  for our Camp Widow program! Soaring Spirits' signature program has outgrown our home website, so we've branched out at www.campwidow.org. Here you will find photos (tons of them), registration information (all in one place!), testimonials from past campers (pages!), a FAQ page that addresses the questions we are most often asked (Yes! This weekend really is fun!), hotel information (and a link!), and a 360 view of life at Camp Widow. Many of our 2011 presenters will debut with the site, and we think you will love the workshops we have scheduled for 2011! To celebrate our launch we will be giving away a Death Sucks mug to everyone who registers for Camp Widow before April 15th! So don't wait, register today! Two Chai Day by Irene McGoldrick Irene and Bob were living an ordinary life when a cancer diagnosis shook their world to its core. Janine Eggers: SSLF National Volunteer Coordinator Soaring Spirits is thrilled to announce the addition of Janine Eggers (AKA TxMomx6) to our Board of Directors. Janine will be serving as our National Volunteer Coordinator, making volunteering from wherever you live possible! With her extensive personal, and professional, volunteer experience Janine brings a talent for connecting willing hands with tasks that serve our whole community! Her passion for building community among widowed people, and her enthusiasm for the work of SSLF will make her a an amazing addition to our team. SSLF is run by a dedicated volunteer team. Knowing that I will still be involved behind the scenes, and that I will be leaving you in the very talented hands of a dedicated group of writers, makes stepping down easier, but I will miss being a part of your daily life."~Michele  In order to focus on her various roles with Soaring Spirits, our Executive Director, Michele Nef Hernandez, will be stepping down from her regular writing post on Widow's Voice.
