Daughter #1 made it safely in last night.
Son #3 wanted to go pick her up .... without me. I guess you feel older if your mom isn't hanging out with you.
I pulled in from Waco as he pulled out of the driveway to head to the airport.
I brought my stuff in and then got back in my car and made a mad dash to the grocery store.
Daughter #1 is a vegetarian.
The two males who live in my house are not.
By any stretch of the imagination.
So I needed to stock up on meatless items.
And on personally requested items ..... like "all kind of fruits that aren't apples". (Apparently only apples are in season right now in Baltimore).
And Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.
And beer.
I said she's a vegetarian.
I didn't say she's a health-nut.
It was great to see her (it doesn't appear that she eats much ice cream up there .... or drinks a lot of beer).
It's wonderful to have her home.
And it's even good to sit with her and be reminded of the horrible tv shows she likes to watch.
Which reminds me ..... I think that it's safe to assume that, starting later tonight, there will be much watching of "America's Next Top Model".
Or so I've been warned.
Silly me ..... I didn't even know it was still on!
Let the fun begin!!!
Happy Monday, Peeps.
:)
