Fun Things .....

.... are going on!

I bet you think that means that we're experiencing cold weather like the rest of you.
Not so much.
We don't do cold.
For example, today?  We're supposed to have a high of 84.
Ugh.
Now I'm no fan of ice and snow and cold, but really??  Eighty-four degrees???  In February??
That just seems unnatural.
And way too warm.
I'd like at least one month of winter.  Is that asking too much?
And it doesn't have to be a hard winter ..... just a month full of temperatures that don't go above 59.  Yes, I realize that to some of you, 59 would be a sauna, but down here ..... some people would use their fireplaces.

A hugely fun thing going on is that in another week I get to spend the weekend with these women:

They, and a few more, are coming down here (and up here, and over here) for our annual Soaring Spirits retreat.  Woooo Hooooo!!
We're going to the lake.
Where, I'm assuming, the temperatures will drop into the low 20's the second we arrive.

It will be a busy weekend.  Soaring Spirits is growing by leaps and bounds.
And there is much to plan for this event, which is only about a month away!!!  Double whoooo hoooo!!
Plus .... for the first time ever, we're having it on the East coast .... in Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina!
Triple woooo hooo!!!

OK, I'm a bit flushed from all of the woooo hooooing, so that's it for now.
