Please, please .....

.... Peeps, join me in praying for one of the many wonderful people who read my blog.
Diane left a comment a couple of days ago, telling me that her wonderful 24 year old son, and only child, died on March 1st from a fire in his apartment.
T.A.N.W.* for the emotions I felt when reading that comment.  I am just grateful and honored that she came to a place where she knew she would be understood .... and a place where she could ask for, and receive, prayers.
Please pray for Diane and her family, as you have prayed so often for me and mine.  There is nothing that we can say to make this any bearable for her, but we can pray.  You all have shown that over and over.

Diane and I have emailed back and forth and she sent me the site of Jonathan's obituary today.  I was so touched by her son and the life he truly "lived", that I asked her if I could share him with you.  She gave me permission,  so here are the words that describe him .... and give you an indication of the hole that is left in her life.

Jonathan Paul Daily, 24, of Martinsburg, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.
Born April 25, 1987, in Alexandria, Va., he was the son of Larry Zane Daily, of Shepherdstown and Diane Marie Taylor, of Baltimore, Md.
Jonathan was employed as a researcher at the U.S. Geological Survey in Leetown.
Jonathan graduated at the top of his class from Jefferson High School in 2005. He went on to study mathematics and biology at George Mason University, where he also was a member of the University Honors program. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2009.
From a very young age, Jonathan had a passion for martial arts and he began studying tae kwon do when he was 8-years-old. Physical health was important to Jonathan and in recent years he attained the position of black belt instructor for the International Kenpo Karate Organization, a position that allowed him to share his love for the discipline with others. In addition to martial arts, Jonathan worked out frequently and tested his strength and endurance in iron man competitions. He was an avid cook who delighted in preparing healthy meals for himself and his family and friends. Jonathan enjoyed the outdoors in his personal life and sought to protect it in his professional life. He loved fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and he often held his martial arts classes in local parks. At 24, Jonathan already had an article published in Ecology, a top journal in his field. He also had a long-standing love for technology and games, especially role-playing video games and the card game "Magic the Gathering." He shared that love with his brother and his closest friends, spending hours discussing strategy for upcoming games or playing in front of a computer. Always looking for a new challenge, Jonathan had recently purchased an electric violin and was very much looking forward to learning to play it. He also was looking at graduate programs that would allow him to explore his interest in the intersection of applied mathematics and biology.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Ingrid Plant Daily, of Ranson; stepfather, David Taylor, of Baltimore, Md.; brother, Benjamin Patrick Daily, of Shepherdstown; paternal grandfather, Larry Daily and wife, Judy, of Moorefield; paternal grandmother, Ruth Daily, of Manassas, Va.; and maternal grandparents, Constance and Joseph Proulx, of West Warwick, R.I.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Eackles- Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, U.S. 340 at Halltown Road, Charles Town/Harpers Ferry, with the Rev. Dr. Fred Soltow officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to causes important to Jonathan; further information will be provided at the service.
Condolences to the family may be expressed at his obituary online at www. eackles-spencerfuneral home.com.

Thank you, Peeps .... in advance .... for praying and for letting her know that she is not alone.  And if you are able, please remember them on Saturday .... when, as she wrote, "Think of us on Saturday when we say good bye to my amazing miracle boy."

Thank you again .... I appreciate all of you so much,
