Sitting in a Car Dealership .....

.... waiting to have a repair done on my car.
I thought they would have to replace
an electric outlet, which meant a long wait.
But good news-- they pulled out the console and the outlet was unplugged! Woot! Now they're washing it (double woot!) and then I'm out of here.

Interestingly enough (at least to me), the higher the price of cars at a dealership, the more conservative the news programs are on their tvs in the waiting area.
Coincidence?
I think not.
But I find it quite humorous.

I'm feeling good today, wave-wise. I'm ready to get to my doctor and plan the next step. The symptoms are kicking my butt. It's affecting my stamina and not only has the pain moved up in my body, but I just feel exhausted all of the time.
It's no longer a question of getting some rest each day, it's become mandatory. Which is probably a good thing right now, except for the fact that Camp Widow is 2 weeks away. I'm praying that I'll be feeling much better with more energy by then.
It's a long shot, but miracles happen.
:)

But I can deal with this much easier without the wave. I'm actually feeling pretty great, in spite of moaning and groaning about my aging body. :)

The kids are all good. I went to the new wine bar last night where Son #2 works. It's so cool to watch him work .... he's very professional and so mature. He's already received a promotion. He makes me proud.
And the wine and food were great.

Son #1 graduates in a month.  I'll go to that and then to go see Daughter #3 in "Chicago" that night. She's playing the role of the woman who murdered her husband because he popped his gum.
Love it! She'll be great AND she has a solo!! Quadruple woot!!

OK, it's about time for me to get my car, which will be yellow-free and bugs-on-the-windshield-free. Yay.
Even if it's only for the next 10 minutes. :)

Happy Good Friday, Peeps.
