A friend has died.
A friend has joined this damn "club".
Three lovely girls no longer have their dad.
And it sucks.
It sucks so much.
I feel like I've been sucked back through a time warp to that first week after Jim died.
And I imagine how she feels.
I can't know for certain.
We are different people and we had different relationships.
But we both love our husbands.
And they both died.
And I'm feeling sad.

I am truly sorry for your friend and these girls. This club stinks and, unfortunately, continues to grow. YUCK!!!!! I know that feeling of being sucked right back into that early time. It happens much too often these days. My prayers for you and your friend.

I'm sad about his death too. But I look back at your Friday posting - "If you ever wonder" - and here's what I know: You are going to be a channel of strength and blessing to these 4 precious women.
so agree with Rick, and have been thinking about you this whole past week, and how God has/will strenghthen you as you, in compassion, minister to T and her daughters. And it is a ministry.
