Remember This .....

...... opening credits of every episode of "Sex In the City"? The very end of it? If not, watch the video now, before proceeding any further. I'll wait ......

*********
(and while I'm waiting I'll tell you that at this very moment I'm sitting in the airport in NY.  I wasn't sitting here when I wrote this post ...... I was sitting in my apartment, last night.  But my iPad and Blogger seem to have a love/hate relationship with each other.  Last night it got ugly.  I'm glad you weren't there to see it.  So, that explains why this post seems un-timely.  If it does.  Maybe you're used to reading posts days later so it doesn't really matter.
In that case, why the heck am I wasting time explaining this?!!  I'm done.  Bye. Oh, and it's 1:43 Central time at this very moment, though my computer keeps itself on Central time, no matter where it is.  Reminds me of my mother.:)

OK, done? Hopefully you know me well enough by now, to know that I really did go clean up my dinner mess. And then more. Sorry it took me so long, but then ...... You can't tell how long it took, can you? Ha!

Anywhooooo, so instead of a beautiful, warm spring, summer day, picture a beautiful, cold (20 degrees) day in NY. And picture me wearing a longish, black winter coat (that I had JUST zipped all the way up, thank goodness) rather than a flimsy skirt. Yep, other than that, exactly the same. Well, except that it was a truck that blew by me and showered cold, slushy water all over the front of my coat and my jeans once where the coat ended. Yes, indeed. It was just too hilarious.
So I guess that means that New York has baptized me. So to speak. :)

Had a great day. Did a little shopping (for waterproof boots) and watched the sledders in Central Park. If you know me on FB then you can see the pictures there. If not then I'll try to remember to post some after I get home. Posting pics isn't so easy on the iPad.

I came home for a dinner of salad, pizza and wine. Now I'm getting ready to go see a movie at the artsy movie theatre in my building. I've chosen "The Gatekeepers" for tonight's viewing. I'll have to let you know how it is.

So that's it for now. Other than I just can't stop saying how very much I love it here. Have I mentioned that before? Because, just in case you're wondering, I do. I really, really do. Love it here.

Happy Saturday, Peeps. :)

P.S.  The movie was very good.  Very eye-opening and informative.  And packed.  Every single seat was sat in.  It sold out all showings yesterday.
