Numb and number

This picture is from 2003 -- Son #1's Confirmation.  Jim's parents are on either side of Son #1 (and then we're on either side of them).

That's all for now.  Maybe for a day or so.

     We'll see.

Great picture. This was before Jim cut his hair, I rememebr when he first got the "buzz", it was such a huge change! #2 got a buzz and then Jim got one. Wow, its so interesting, the things we think about- now I can't get this picture out of my mind- but it is a good picture- so I am going to let it ride in my mind for a while!

I'm thinking about you,and praying for Lee and the whole family.

Love, K

I'm so sorry May is so hard. You didn't mention Mothers Day in your "event" list either. It will be another difficult day for you for many reasons and it's coming too. I pray you get through it and even maybe feel loved through it. You are loved by so many.

Has CTK's new worship center been in use that long? Wow how time flies!

Actually that picture would be from 2004. In 2003, that building was not there. At least not in its finished form.

(Gee I sort of sound like Son #1 don't I?)

Praying for God's peace in your heart you experience Mother's Day without the father of your children. Thanks for the pictures of Jim. They connect deeply.

J so sorry you're having a hard few days. You're truly walking through the desert wilderness in a blinding sandstorm but the important thing is to keep walking, keep breathing, keep putting one foot in front of another one step one minute at a time and one day you will arrive at a different place than desert. The important thing is to not stop and burrow down in the sand, because some people do this and never lave the desert. You are moving along from everything I can see, and some days will be harder than others but you are so strong even in your weakest times. You're an amazing woman, made strong through the strength of Christ working through you. I'm sending love from across the world... Wendee

Janine--I like Wendee's analogy.I remember just a few weeks ago flying to Kenya--for hours and hours we were flying over the desert, but eventually I looked out and it wasn't anymore. And then we landed and everything was lush. I know as you keep moving forward one day at a time eventually you won't be walking in the desert anymore. And for now I pray for a few oases for you. Well, I think that we should talk more often, Mother dearest! And when I say talk more often, I know the first thing you want to talk about it school, but let's cross that bridge when we come to it. I understand I will be going to MMA, yeah, that's all fine and dandy.

Now, what we need to talk about MORE is how your feeling, because I'm sick of finding out these things over your Blog! I know you had told me you have been having a hard month, but you leave it at that. And it bothers me, so we need to talk about how YOU feel more, and let me worry about me and my school work. (I know, I know, Easier said than done)

So have your people call my people, we do lunch sometime?
Perfect!
Chow darling!
