It's been a terrific weekend. We had over 200 widowed people attend and I think I can say that every single one of them enjoyed the weekend .... even though some of them did not expect to.
Today I had my workshop, "Two Sets of Footprints", which is about faith through grieving. I was surprised by the number of people who attended. It was my second time to lead this topic.
And it went well.
And ..... this piece of news really needs a drum roll so please hear the drum roll in your head .....
I did my presentation using my first EVER power point. Yep, I drank the Kool Aide. I thought I would go to my grave without EVER having done a power point presentation.
But I was wrong.
And so with 2 hours of free time before my workshop, I decided to put a powerpoint together. The last time I looked at the clock I had 30 minutes left. No problem, because I was working on the last issue.
Just when you think "no problem" ... there's a problem. My phone rang and the voice on the other end said, "Where are you?" I looked at my watch and it was time to start t;he workshop! So I ran like a maniac through the hotel and to my workshop.
Thankfully, the group of people waiting for me were very forgiving. :)
And it was a good experience.
So I leave you tonight saying that it was an amazing weekend. It just gets better and better each year.
I hope that you all have a great Sunday, Peeps.
I really need to go to sleep.
:)
