A blog that started out as a humorous tale of raising 6 children, then quickly became a chronicle of my grief at being suddenly widowed. Now it's the rest of my journey ... of living, laughing, crying, praying, rejoicing. Of being happy, sad, angry, content, sorrowful, alone, amazed and very, very blessed. And still taking life, one breath at a time ........

The new addition
Well, this is the new kitten. The "old" kitten is non too happy. She's a hissing-maniac. The new one is too cute! And very cuddly.
I'm not sure what to name her. A couple of ideas are Colbie and Jazz. I'll be taking suggestions.
On other topics -- this is the song that I heard when I got into my car this morning:
I was sure by now
That You would have reached down
And wiped our tears away
Stepped in and saved the day
But once again, I say "Amen", and it's still raining
As the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
And as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away
Chorus:
I'll praise You in this storm
And i will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
Every tear I've cried
You hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
I remember when
I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry
You raised me up again
My strength is almost gone
How can I carry on
If I can't find You
I lift my eyes unto the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord
The maker of heaven and earth
I've heard it before but never really "heard" it until today. I think Casting Crowns wrote it for me.
Even though the past 2 days were not great, I did have 3 great friends over with me last night and they made me laugh. A lot.
I love my friends.

Way cuter then George Clooney!
Okay... well... maybe cuter in a different way.
I'm definitely going to have to stop by tomorrow to cuddle... the kitten that is. But I'll be sure to have a hug for you too.
Love,
M
My girls have two suggestions for a name...Abby or Cinderella...go figure. I asked my little ball of energy and she said you should name her "dog". I thought this might make you laugh!

OH.MY.GOSH! To both the Kitty and those song lyrics. I had never heard them before. I would like to hear it. And what a cutie pie!! She's terrific. Jovie will just have to chill out. And the name that comes to mind is Coco, cause she's kinda cocoa colored. But that's just me. David thought she was adorable, too.
Send more pics and let us know what you name her. Take care of yourself. I love you dearly.
Taffy is my vote but who am I???? A RET thats who! Did you stay up and watch the lunar eclipes? Tooo cool1 The kids got a kick out of it. I can't wait to see the new kitten! 17 more days and counting! I love you!

Love Casting Crowns. You might like Mercy Me's song Homesick or at least identify with the words. Sorry to hear you've had some bad days. Still praying everyday for you.
Love,
Julie
She is just way too cute for words. The idea of naming her dog reminded me of my friend's 4-yr old son who named his two fish Chicken and Beef! LOL!
Homesick is the song I wrote Aunt Kathy's Power Point Slideshow to when Unka Bob died...nice song, in a depressing way.
I say name the car RAT!
=)
