A Diversion

A new friend of mine, Luanne, has "tagged" me.  Which in the blog world means that she posts a link to my blog and I link back to hers, participating in whatever the "game" is that day.  

I'm supposed to post 6 random facts about myself and then "tag" 6 other blogsters.  I'm not sure I know 6 others, but I'm game.

I met Luanne at the "She Speaks/Write" conference back in June.  We happened to sit at the same table and found at that we both are ---- ugh, widows.  She's been visiting my blog (thank you, Luanne!) and encouraging me.  She's very special.

So here we go!

OK, let's see ...... 6 random facts ........

1.  I majored in theatre and have always loved to act, which I guess came in handy with bedtime stories.

2.  I used to teach Suzuki piano

3.  I only wanted 1 to 2 kids when I met Jim.

4.  I didn't want to get married before I was 30, BEFORE I met Jim.

5.  I was in a TV commercial when I was quite small.

6.  I took tap lessons when my girls took dance back in 90's.

There --- that's six.

Now for six blogs .....  OK, first there's Tamara's blog.  She is hilarious and I love reading her blog.  She definitely makes me smile.

Then there's my sister's blog. She is too funny. And nuts.

Then there's my brother's blog about his family. M1 is pretty much crazy as a loon, though sometimes he hides it well. How his lovely wife puts up with him ....... sigh.

OK, that's 3. Three more to go.

Here is a link to LL's blog. She is currently taking the Bar exam so don't bother her too much. She and her husband and beautiful one year old son just moved back to Tx from Chicago, where she graduated from law school. This woman has WAY too much going on! I have to take a breather whenever I read her great posts!

This is Melanie's blog. She spoke about blogging at the She Speaks conference. She is hilarious and hundreds of readers. She's probably received this tag 50 times today.

This is Lisa's blog.. I met her on the Young Widow's Board. I like her perception on life. And I like reading her blog.

OK, I did it. That's 6. Whew.
