I have to stay out of those places.
I'm going to make this swift and get it over with. Then I will make my "real" post for the day.
Yes, as I'm sure you have assumed by now, I got a kitten.
I need professional help.
I need a sister-in-law who doesn't encourage me to lose my mind, and then offer to drive back to the "neat" place so that I can adopt the kitten ---- the one who loved me from the moment he saw me; who tried to get through the cage to love on me.
Very professional help.
It is ALL L's fault. Well, and Daughter #2's. I actually left the building without an animal. We drove back home. I was done with it. And then both of those females kept saying I should get him and how cute he was. I had Daughter #2 check with the airline --- no problemo.
So we drove back. I kept saying that hopefully he was adopted after we left and then I wouldn't have to think about it. Well, he wasn't.
I told L this was all her fault. She was supposed to be the voice of reason and sanity, not the voice telling me I should totally get him! To which she replied, "I knew he would give you so much joy!"
Very, very professional help.
Here's Rigby:
Now, get everything out that's running through your mind. Vent and make all of the "catty" (ha!) comments now --- to your computer.
Yes, I admit. I'm "that" woman (though S's neighbor says it's not until you have 4 or 5).
There.
That's it. I don't want to hear any grief (ha -- again) about this. Not from any of you.
Not. One. Word.
Hey, I could've got the llama.

AAHHHHHH! He is soooo cute! I won't give you any grief, promise. It just runs in the blood of the women in our family! If I could I would! I hope you have fun with V at the lake. Tell her I said hi and just know J, I love you and miss you tons!
i'm not going to give you grief either........i'm not going to say nasty things to my computer....i'm not going to call you CRAZY!!!!.......but you know what i'm thinking!!! me and a bunch of other tennis buddies. lor
I just love cats . . . Have you ever been to Key West and visited Ernest Hemingways house . . . now that is a lot of cats and I think you can adopt one if you go and visit . . . hmm, maybe you should not go and visit
He is cute! I love cats, too, and have had up to 8 at one time, when my cat had litters of kittens- so I suppose I am a 'cat lady', but they're so nice! I am cat-less right now, as they have all run away recently, but hopefully I will get a new one soon!
Crazy Cat Lady. I'm holding this against you for the rest of your life. But if you get a dog, even a small one like Tess. No one can call you that.
Rigby looks Spooky!! Purr-fectly Spooky. What a lucky cat.
ahhh... 3 cats is nothing. My good friend Jen lost her husband in 2003 and is now the proud mama to 6 (or 7?) cats. :) They are part Bengal, and really cool. So maybe cats is just the beginning! :) My favorite is the plaque on her wall, "No outfit complete without cat hair" ;)
a new kitten...............
......................hmmmmmmmmm.
He is very cute! I know a couple young children who are very excited to meet him!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you, soon!!!Love, K
Dear Son #3 --- you might as well sign your name since I know it's you who called me Crazy Cat Lady!! Interestingly enough ..... you were also one of the people who encouraged me and went BACK with me to get him!!!!!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............
You're just ticked cuz I wouldn't get you the rottweiler.
WhatEVAH!!!
Cats are cool, but K2 is allergic so we can't have any. Plus St. Bernards like to eat them!
Little Bro
Good morning my darling daughter. What a hoot!! Three kitties...hmmmm. I so totally love it!! Makes me feel sooooooo vindicated! I love you bunches and can't wait to see you tonight.
You have six kids why not six cats?
Lisa B.
Lisa B ----
That's what Daughter #2 said, too. Scared me to death!!!! I'd better stop!!!!!!!
So if you are the crazy cat lady . . . that would make son #3 the son of the crazy cat lady.
Why did you go to the adoption place to begin with.....there's no way you could leave with out something. Congratulations on your new son. He's is very cute and I love the name.
Oh man...I can't talk. I brought home a donkey last week! Yes...a real, long floppy-eared hee-hawing, absolutely hilarious and loving donkey! I couldn't HELP it. He was so starving that his hair was falling out from malnutrition.
He's already growing hair back and he thinks he's a dog! Tosh calls him "Weee-Snaw", but I named him "Badonkadonk"! I also got a new horse. ("for the kids") ;)
SO, my crazy cat-lady sister, ...TRUST me. You have a long way to catch up!
I love you tons and tons,
Lis
Rule #1 NEVER go to the SPCA unless you intend on walking out with a pet.
Rule #2 NEVER go to PetCo on Staurday or Sunday afternoons...that
s their adoption days and you'll be walking out with something one way or another!
Rule #3 NEVER say "Oh I'll just go LOOK at them."
Little Bro
So...if your bro knows that...then WHY does he
#1 take me to the SPCA when I say that I "just want to look"?
#2 take me to Petco on a Saturday?
#3 believe me when I tell him "I just want to look at them"?
Oh yeah, because Jim told him to "treat me like a queen"...hmmm..I feel like I "just want to go look" at some potential pets!!! See ya later!! (check the blog!!! LOLLLLL!!!!!
Love,
K in AK
