Keep 'em coming

Thanks for all of the name suggestions -- please keep them coming.  I've been impressed by the imagination and the sensitivity.  Well, except for Son #2.  But then, whatever.

We're now at the lake -- and Gabby is loving running around and enjoying the space.  Our space at home is taken up with .... well, with everything.  Today we had scaffolding in the kitchen so that the lights could be installed.
     Notice anything on the scaffold?
George has taken over every aspect of this renovation.  He makes his presence known to the workers all of the time.  He hides in cabinets, boxes, drawers, you name it ... he's there to let everyone know that HE is king of the castle!

Here are my new lights above the island.  I think I did a great job picking them out -- well, for someone who knows nothing about decor or what's "in", or what "style" my house is ....
dumb luck, probably.

Here's my "baby" and me.  It's so weird to me  how much she has added to our family in only 5 days.  In spite of the mess, the lamp, the cleaning up after ...... the "before me" would be totally shocked by this.  She would be speechless.  She would think I had totally gone crazy and would put me away.  Really.  The "after" me is definitely a bit "looser" about the mess and the noise and the .... well, pretty much everything that's going on in my house at the moment.  Timing is everything.  People have asked me why I decided to undergo this mess and renovation .... and this puppy, at this time in my life.  Especially at this time.
I figured, hey, I can't possibly feel any worse, my life could not be at any lower point, so  .....
what the heck.  This is the best possible time to have my house torn up and have a puppy being house-trained ..... and sleeping in my bed.  It's hard to explain .... either you get it or you don't.
And that's OK.

Son #2 took this picture.  He's quite proud of it .... as well he should be.  :)

Awwww Sis, I LOVE that picture of you and Gabby!
...and I SO get the animal thing. I'm GLAD that you have turned crazy, because now you're more like me:)

The Glory Gals!
Lovely Leftovers (okay, maybe that's a little weird!)
This is harder than I thought it would be:( How do you come up with names that are bright and fun, but don't sound crass or insensitive?
Hmmmmm...how about you just all call yourselves "Tater Salad", because everything in it is all mushed up, mixed up and yet saucy?
(and everyone love tater salad!)

Okay, I'm going to bed. See what Ambien makes me do???
I LOVE you my dear sister!

What a cute puppy. Won't be cuddling him like a baby too much longer.

Loved the suggestions for your group, especially K.A.W. sounds so much better than "First Tea @ Five." (Now I'm thinking we could use a subtitle to go with it).

Isn't it great to be together. It's just something you can't explain unless you've been there.
Good for you for reaching out.

Luanne

PS your kitchen is really looking great. I'm sure you'll be glad to get it finished.

1. Clearly the best name was already suggested.

2. I really hope that the guy I wind up marrying has never heard the whole "Look at a woman's mother to see what she'll look like when she's older." Because if he thinks I'm going to look as good as you, he will be sorely disappointed.

Seriously, Mom. Stop looking so hot. You're embarrassing me, because I don't look that good now!

3. If y'all are going to be at the lake on Saturday then of course I'm coming there! I just have to remember how to get there from Waco...

4. Love you! And I'll see you in TWO days!

I have to agree with Daughter #3!
You look WAY to hot to have 6 kids!
(and I remember when you were just a little chubby like me;)
I give up on the name thing. I clearly suck at it!
We keep saying that we're going to name our farm, but we've lived here for 5 years now and can't agree on a name.
I wanna' come to the lake with you too:)

First of all Gabby is so cute! Second of all I agree with the above that you look so good too; I wonder if it's because of a certain salesperson??? LOL! The kitchen is looking fantastic!

Daughter #3,
You are more awesome than I could ever hope to be. I cannot believe that God blessed your dad and me so abundantly. You are indeed "hot" .... and more importantly ---- FABULOUS!!!!

I can totally take one of the sisters. Wouldn't that be fun, mom?? Then whenever I come home they can see each other! Miley needs a friend anyway... maybe then she'd leave Jovie alone.

I don't think I'll ever say someone is 'crazy' for doing something again. Because how could we know what you're going through, really? I used to think people who had a bunch of little kids right in a row were crazy. But now I have an 8 month old, and I am feeling the urge to have another...and I no longer feel like that would be a crazy thing to do. So I'm glad Gabby is making you happy- she's definitely cute! :)
