Oh good grief!! Jonah and Day 6/7 (Also known as ... 9 months Today)

Really, it's not so bad but I still have to say .......
WHAT THE CRAP?!!!

Where is my stinking power?! Some neighborhoods are getting it, just not mine.

My neighbors are beginning to rumble. I think they believe if they can throw me out of the 'hood, they will get power.
I have NO doubt.
I am Jonah and they should definitely throw me off of the boat.
Heck, I would.

Letter #5 came yesterday. I don't have the strength to get the mail today. I think I'll leave it until after the weekend.

School is out until at least next Thursday.

We have power at the lake now, so if there's no power here when I get back on Sunday from my lovely visit with Son #2, I'm heading to the lake house.

That's it for now.

It really isn't THAT bad ...... it could be worse. At least it's not hot. There is gas if you wait long enough.
Yada. Yada. Yada.

I'm tired of the dark.

Literally and figuratively.

I'm in the same boat - no electricity. Centerpoint (website) says that my area code at least will be fixed by Monday... then there's a long list of zip codes that will not be fixed until AFTER Monday because they have extensive damage. It's frustrating... i have work to do! :( Sorry you're in the same boat!

Ok, this has nothing to do with your post, (well, it sort of does) but MAYBE it will at least make you laugh (or smirk?) Anyway, as for JONAH... K2 once got a story book of Jonah when she was little. I somehow gave M2 the idea that I didn't know the story of Jonah. In his shock, (knowing I had 8 yrs of private Catholic schooling) he tried to give me a hint...thinking I would magically know the answer. He said "Who got swallowed by the whale".
My (honest, blonde) answer:
Pinnochio??
We've never forgotten that. And I now KNOW the story of Jonah!! LOL

I have "power guilt". I wish I could give the power of electricity to you. Praying for you and the weekend.
