I'm thinking about starting a second blog as a sort of book club/discussion blog based on "The Shack".
We would read it together and then discuss our thoughts and ideas through the blog. This came to me as I sat in our new Sunday School class that is the exact same thing. Ummmm ... only it's not a blog.
I know that many of you have (or are in the process of) read it and that many others have expressed an interest.
So ..... tell me what you think and any ideas, suggestions or questions that you might have.

Sounds great, but I haven't received my book yet!! It says it has shipped, but it's not HERE!
I know, I could have bought it at a bookstore, but I am a member of "The Literary Guild" bookclub online.

Thanks for visiting my blog. It is so important to have positive male influences in our children's lives when they lose their father. I too am fortunate that my children have 3 very involved uncles.

Count me in - I just finished reading it. This will give me the "excuse" to go back and re-read the parts that just blew me away. The first time through, I was reading so fast to get to the next part, that I kept telling myself, I need to re-read this slower and reflect more.

It's a great idea. Suddenlaunch has free forum boards. You could set up a private board that is just for book club stuff. Great fun!

Read it! Loved it! Would love to discuss and hear others thoughts! I had to do some catch up on your posts. I was in OKC visiting my folks and their computer is from the dark ages so had to wait until I got home. I love your word CHOOSE I have to confess my motto is a little more shallow than yours mine for 09 is I'll be fine in '09! Yep that's it hoping to weigh less by the end of the year. Perhaps I should get my bible out and see if God would have me select something a little more oh how do I say it a little less...shallow....vain....?
