The Countdown ....

.... begins for a busy week.
Tuesday evening I have my next MRI.
Wednesday morning I see my doctor to go over the results.
Son #1 comes home on Wednesday.
Friday is ..... well, we all know what Friday is.
But it's also the day that Daughters #2 & #3 come home.
As well as my sister's birthday, my brother's birthday and my step-dad's birthday.
Friday is a big day.
All by itself.

Speaking of Friday, I can't thank you enough for all of the comments and e-mails telling me that you're all praying for me, especially at this time of year.
Thank you for all of the e-mails about tinnitus, too. Thank you JB, for the web site you sent ... it was very helpful (and I liked your son's web site, too!). Thanks so much for taking the time to send a note (I love it when "lurkers" come out of hiding!).
I'm still hearing the ringing .... as loud as ever, but it's settled in one ear now rather than two, so that's better news. I seem to be getting used to it.

I'm still not sleeping well, unless I use medication, but that could also be this time of the year.
I think I'll stick to the meds for this week .... being wide awake at 3 a.m. is not any fun.

I should be finishing "Twilight" tonight or tomorrow and then will plow right in to the next one. Why did I wait this long?!!!

Son #3 and I went to see "Invictus" today .... it was a very good movie. I'd love to say that I now understand rugby, but that would be a huge lie. I still don't get when the ball is considered "dead" .... or if it ever is, or if there's such a thing as a foul (it sure didn't look like it) but Matt Damon was a cute rugby player and Morgan Freeman did a great job. I give it an 8 out of 10.
There you go .... a positive review based on cuteness. Well, not totally based on cuteness. But if George were in it I'd give it a 10.
;)

OK, that's all for today. Nothing exciting, but that's a good thing in my book. Keep praying, Peeps .... I can feel your prayers and I'm so thankful for every one.
I'm making it .... one breath at a time.

Oh .... and happy Sunday.
:)

Janine,
I am praying for you, especially through this week. "Lord Jesus, please give your daughter peace. Let her know you are with her through these days."

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers this week. It's still so hard to accept Jim being gone and the why of course I'll never grasp.
We love you all and also pray the ringing in your ear CEASES!

I'm sure this week will be a struggle but you are a stong woman. Keep your head up & hug your babies every chance you get! [Yes, I still call mine babies too...they're 15 & 8!]. And know you are continuing to do good for people hundreds of miles away.

This week will, undoubtedly, be hard but you are strong woman. Keep your head up & hug your babies. [Yes, I still call mine babies -- they're 15 & 8!]. You've helped & touched the lives of many...even hundreds of miles away. Thank You! Tara

It was great seeing you in church Sunday - I have been away from your blog (just so busy with everything) and had just been back when I read the one about dating on Sat or something. Wow! So exciting!! I'm also praying for ya as always, esp this time of year. You and Jim look so young in the photo you have up today - wow!! So cute!!

I can't believe so many significant events are commemorated on the same day. How absolutely dreadful for you. xo
