These Boots Are Made For Walking ....

.... and for reminding me of what great Peeps are out there!
You guys really came to my defense .... and strongly.  Now I know that if I ever need some really pissed off widows/friends .... all I have to do is write!
Thank you to all of you who commented, e-mailed or asked me in person about "the boots".
These are them .... and I love them.  They are SO comfortable ..... and they're from Spain!  I know!!
And ..... try to keep this on the down low ..... but just between you and me ..... I came back with THREE pairs of boots.
From Spain.
I KNOW!!!!
: )

I almost titled this post, "Bite Me ....", but I refrained.
Jim would have been disappointed in that choice and what can be worse than having someone tell you that they're "disappointed in you".  Ugh.
Yes, I know that he's not here to tell me that, but as all of the widowed people out there know ....your spouse's physical presence doesn't make a difference when it comes to that kind of thing.
Really.
So I acted more ladylike ..... other than telling you all what I wanted to name it.  :)

Have a great weekend, Peeps .... and a safe Halloween.
As for me, I am hosting a baby shower tomorrow afternoon.
SO not me, but it's for the daughter of a dear friend and I love both of them very much.
Well, I love them as long as I don't focus on the thought that our daughters are old enough  to be married and having babies.
Ooooooh, I just had a major shudder!

Anyway, my house is all decorated in pink (WAY so not me!)  ..... thank God for other friends who have a decorating gift.
:)

Happy Weekend, Peeps.

Well, well, well, you sure do treat your feet nicely, don't you? I mean, aren't you widows supposed to lose your toes to hypothermia? You really have a lot of nerve investing in footwear. Shoes are for people with living spouses. I really thought you knew better.

Good job on the boots. No matter whether you are a widow or not, it is good to take care of yourself. Good grief someone needs to kick start the economy again. Moni B

Those boots are great!! My sister lives in Spain, I need to shop better when I am there next. I am sorry that you had to deal with that, people never cease to amaze me.

I think that smart son#1 should take orders on those boots and make some money reselling them here in the States!
I'm happy to see you still have your sense of humor when people still say ridiculous things to you.
Love you,
Nat
