It Never Rains in California ......

...... or so I've heard.
What.
Ev.
Er.

It rained throughout the weekend.  Fortunately, we weren't here to play outside.  Dang it.
We did have a bit of sun on Saturday afternoon when we took a break and several of us dashed out to soak in the Vitamin D.
It was quite nice.
Then we went back to work.

I love this work.
I hate the reason that I do it, but I love it nonetheless.

We had a great board retreat.  We got a lot accomplished.  We have great plans and ideas for SSLF.
This year we're celebrating our 5th anniversary.
Five years of a very good thing ...... for a very bad reason.
I'm thankful for the good.

I went into the office today for another day of work.  The rest of the board members who traveled here went home yesterday.  I had extra work to do (I'm a slow learner.  :)
I'm glad for the extra time.
And the blue sky and bright sunshine that greeted us this morning.  The first morning that didn't arrive with fog and/or rain.
It was beautiful.
It still is, even though it's dark ...... and below freezing!
I know!!

Tomorrow I'm going to visit the Reagan Library and am really looking forward to it.  It's supposed to be the best presidential library in the country.  And right now they have a Disney exhibit.  Lots of memorabilia, costumes and fun things to see.
And then tomorrow night will be spent with friends at an avocado farm.
Sweet.

And then I head home on Wednesday.  It'll be good to see the Sons.  I miss them.

OK, that's it for now.
I know, it's not a very exciting post.
That's probably because I'm a little bit tired.
To put it mildly.

Good night, Peeps.
Happy Monday/Tuesday.
:)

well hopefully you used up all of California's rain allotment so it will be sunny for everyone going to Camp Widow West in June!!!!

I am glad you love your work - all of you from SSLF. I know the reason sucks. But those of us who have that reason and need you are eternally grateful.
