Welcome home

I'm feeling better this afternoon -- yay. Staying busy helps. Daughter #1 and I made the grocery list for Thanksgiving and went to the store. It will be an interesting holiday this year. My husband and 3 boys are going to visit his parents and the girls and I are staying home. It will be strange. Daughter #1 has to work and the other two don't have much time off of school, so it makes a 10 hour road trip up and then back a bit difficult. Plus, truth be told, the thought of sitting in a car for 10 hours on Wed and then again on Saturday makes me a bit nauseous!
So Daughter #1 and I have found some new recipes to try (since the picky sons won't be here) and are looking forward to our female bonding time. I'm sure the guys are looking forward to their time, too.
Oh, I felt right at home this morning -- the 4 guys left the pantry door open and there were a pair of sock lying in wait for me.
Some things never change.
:)
P.S. I have to say that, other than the pair of socks, the guys had the house very clean when I got home. They did a great job. Son #1 even had fresh-baked cookies waiting!
Guess I'll take the open pantry and a few socks --- just don't tell them that!

I am soooo glad that you are home. I'm sorry about the depression thing. That's no fun. I can't tell you how much you have touched my heart with your wonderful and awesome experiences. Many tears shed and so full of pride for the job you did and the wonderful experiences you had. STILL...glad you are safely at home.

I hope you and the girls have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm sure you will have many things to add to your "Things I'm thankful for" list. I envy you your mission trip.

So, what's for dinner?? Bon Appetit! Enjoy the good food and the good company. Love you lots.
