More Quick Peep Pics .....

... but only a couple and very quickly. Internet time is costlier than gold around here ... and it's after midnight my time so I need to get to bed.

Here are my Peeps after we climbed the volcano to hell .... or somewhere thereabouts. This is on Santorini. You will notice that the Peeps are a bit tuckered and can't seem to sit up straight. They give you a good picture of what I looked like at the time.
More on that trip later.

These are my Peeps, floating in the Mediterranean. This was on Elias Beach on Mykonos. It was ..... Oh. So. Lovely. The water was cold but felt great. It was easy to float (see Peeps) and the water was gorgeous. It was very difficult to leave Mykonos today.

And this was a hazy, but beautiful sunset while Daughter #1 and I ate dinner at a fabulous restaurant at the back of the ship. The food remains to be the best cruise fare I've ever had.
We are having a mostly great time (if you don't count the volcano trek and the fact that I dropped, and broke, my camera the evening we were in Santorini. I had to buy another one today because who can go on a cruise to Greece, Turkey and Italy and use only an iPhone for photos. I mean .... I love my iPhone but I'm not an idiot (if you don't count the fact that I dropped my camera). However, I didn't feel so bad once the camera guy on the ship told me that a man bought one yesterday and thought it was water proof. Yep.
He was back last night at the camera shop, buying a new (and water proof) camera. See .... it could always be worse.
Tomorrow we take a "shopping excursion" in Istanbul and hit the Spice Market and the Grand Bazaar. We also get a lesson in carpet-making/buying (not my cup of tea but it comes with every single excursion in Turkey. No kidding.).
The next day we see the sights and have then have a Turkish dinner in a village near Istanbul.
It should be very interesting. As long as eyeballs aren't involved.

OK ..... that's it.
Take care Peeps and happy Thursday/Friday.
:)

Lovely pics. Glad to hear you and D1 are having a wonderful time. Hope you let us in on what ship you are on. I am trying to plan a European cruise and would love to hear what you think.

Cheers,
