An Update ....

.... from New York, where it's rainy and very miserable-looking. Glad I'm inside the Continental lounge. :)
That's the good news.

The bad news is that Daughter #1's flight out of Boston is scheduled to be delayed for at least 4 hours. How in the world does Continental already know that a flight will be delayed .... and by that much??
That would have given her less than 30 minutes to make our connecting flight to Rome. A huge no-brainer. She said no. They have now put her on another airline which will fly straight to Rome and get in at the same time as the flight I'm on.
That's more good news.
I'm bummed that we will not get to fly together. But hopefully that will be the end of airplane nonsense and our trip will continue as planned. Well ..... as mostly planned.

My flight out of Houston was uneventful, which is always a good thing for a flight to be.
I even got to sit by myself, which is always a treat. Watched a boring movie ("Ghost Writer") and read.
I'm hoping to watch "How to Train a Dragon" (I've wanted to see it since it came out but the teenagers have no desire whatsoever to be caught at an animated movie ..... especially with their maternal unit) ..... and then sleep. I'm hoping to get lots of sleep since I'm scheduled (and I use the term loosely) to arrive in Rome at 7:45 a.m.

The wedding last night was beautiful and the reception was fun. I had to leave before the dancing and big-time partying began (it was a 4 hour drive back home), but I heard it was a blast. I also heard that Son #3 caught the garter. Go figure.
And yes, that frightens me just a tad.

OK, I think that's it for the update.
I'm severely disappointed that RJ is the only Peep who has answered the "while-I'm-away-question". C'mom Peeps ....... dig deep and answer!
Don't make me withhold vacation pics!!

That's it from the U.S.
Take care and I'll catch up when I can.

Happy Sunday, Peeps.
:)

Son #3 did not just catch the garter, he dove for it. With a slide across the floor. If it had of been a baseball game you would have been really proud.
