Not much ....

.... to write about.
I didn't cry yesterday.
Yay for that.
Haven't cried yet today.
Double yay.

Just thought I'd pop in and share this picture I saw on line today .... and now I can't remember where.
But I liked it.
And am thankful for it.
In a painful kind of way.

#13.  The afternoon sunlight shining through my kitchen window, through the stained glass piece that my very dear friend made for me .... and seeing all of the colors diffuse into even more shimmering colors.
#14.  Having time to just "be" in my home.
#15.  The sun pouring through the trees and making dappled shadows on the tennis court.
#16.  Connecting with someone through my writing.
#17.  Seeing/learning something brand new in a Bible verse -- especially one I thought I already knew.
#19.  Driving down the very dark, very quiet streets of my community in the early morning hours.
#20.  Turning onto the "dirt road" on the way to my in-laws' farm ..... and how very excited the kids got.
         Every.  Single.  Time.

Thanks again, Peeps.
And Happy Monday/Tuesday.
:)

Oh .... and how's it going with the Kindle? I forgot to tell you how to go on line and check each book that may not have downloaded, if you need to.
Happy reading!!

Hey Janine! Just thinking of you. I really like the comment that Susan made yesterday. Here's to hoping someone steps in soon, even when you are not looking and starts that trip to the fabulous future! Love You.

My name is James.

I lost my wife to cancer about 18 months ago. She was only 29.

I have read your blog for quite a long time now and like your insights. I’ve never written to you before but I wanted to say hang in there, simply.

I never wanted to really write but now I am overflowing with some emotions lately and need to get them down on paper. I think I have you to thank for some of the inspiration to get my feelings out there.

I just noticed you have some other Widows/Widowers blog links on the site. Can I humbly ask you to add my blog to that area?

It’s called 29 Years Old. I Shouldn’t Be A Widower. www.jamespinnick.com
I will add yours as well with your permission.

I wish you well and pray that you are surrounded by loving and supportive people.
