Some Random Pictures ....

from the last month or so.

Son #3 and I are at the lake this weekend.  I bought a boat a couple of weeks ago so we came to pick it up today.  Mom and D helped us load it up on their car and off we headed to the boat ramp.
I have to add here that I have never, ever been able to back a trailer up in a correct manner.  Boat, no boat... it has never mattered.  Looking into a rearview mirror and trying to turn the steering wheel in the opposite way that I want the trailer to go ..... is kind of like me, trying as hard as I could, to load my brain with geometry theorems in 10th grade.  Both involved a lot of tears and profuse sweating.
No worries though ..... D backed it up and got it in perfectly.  I was amazed.  I'm not sure I ever saw Jim back the boat down a boat ramp in one straight shot.
Son #3 got behind the wheel and Mom and I hopped on.  It was so much fun.  It's a Sea Doo boat so it's much easier to drive than a regular boat, which we used to have and I never once drove.  There was just too much talk of "trim", throttle, gears, or whatever.  I never had the urge to give it a try.  But this .... this is WAY different and much, much easier!  I'm so excited to be able to take it out whenever I want.  I can't wait to have a girls' weekend up here and take everyone out on the boat.

So other than that, I don't have a lot to say so I thought I'd post some March pics for you to peruse and/or enjoy.

Guess who's who (and picking me totally doesn't count):

Can you believe that this boy/man is the same cute child who's on my
"Ask Me Wednesday" button?  Sigh .....

Some of the best roller coasters I've ever ridden:

Son #1 wanted this pic so that he could tell his room mates he went to Spain
over Spring Break.  What. Ev. Er.

And, yes ..... Mexico. (I'm really hoping that his room mates aren't as
dumb as this would seem to indicate)  :)

Sons #1 and #3 were sitting in about the 3rd car back:

As I was driving to my home one day last week I saw this:

For those of you who know me well, I know what you're thinking.
And to that I say .... "I KNOW, RIGHT?!!!!"

These flowers are beautiful and they make me smile every time I look out the window
or drive by.  For those of you who don't know me well .... I do NOT "garden".  I did
not plant these lovely beauties, nor did I cover anything during our two "hard freezes".
I don't even have the faintest idea of what they're called.  They look like some kind of lily
to me, but plants and flowers are like cars to me .... I only know that they have wheels,
that some are big and some are small, but as for the brand and type?  I only know the obvious
ones ..... like a Hummer, or a VW Bug.   And really, don't worry about me ..... I'm quite
OK with that lack of knowledge.  I have no desire to join our local Garden Club.  Yay
for them.  :)

OK .... that's it for now.
I hope that you're all enjoying your weekend.
I know I am.  Enjoying mine that is ..... not yours.
Happy Sunday, Peeps!
:)

RJ .... RIght you are!!! Good job! I should totally send you something for knowing my children so well, but ....
I think there's some FCC rule about that. Or at least that's the excuse I'm going to give.
I'm impressed.
